In response to my last post an author has asked me why her comments made me so upset. The answer is plain and simple. I am sure anyone would get upset and hurt if they felt publicly shamed and judged. If you call someone names in public it is obviously going to hurt and that person will probably defend themselves. There is no deeper issue here other than to say thank you for your apology, I hope you will remember to be more careful with your words and judgments in the future. If any of my words have been misunderstood and hurtful I also apologize.

this is a touchy issue, isn't it? i mean, some couples choose to have the husband as the head of the family, with their eyes wide open and with no implications being made about womankind's general inferiority. surely that's ok.
but i myself struggle with making life decisions, and i definitely wonder if it would be easier to find a man with vision and hitchhike on his dreams. that's not ok. and using the bible to defend it is just ludicrous.
p.s. i miss you and we so didn't have coffee two weeks ago!
you are a woman who speaks with conviction and integrity. May God's grace be upon you...
continue to be the woman that he has called you to be.
Ultimately you answer to God regarding this issue and if you are ever out of line (which i am not suggesting you are) leave it to him to speak the truth to you and bring focus with his grace. Sometimes though, it helps to know that people are also behind you. I am behind you.
I pray for full restoration of relationship and God's grace and mercy on both sides of the issue.
